Katherine Lengyel is a Michigan based performer who likes to explore many mediums and facets of production, from the stage and screen, to directing, dramaturgy, and costume construction.

She combines intellect and heart both on and offstage. She is an adaptable, diligent, and reliable actor. She is very detail oriented in the characterization and worldbuilding processes, and surrounds herself with similarly passionate people. Her linguistic capabilities, including being bilingual in Spanish and English and a variety of dialect work, adds to their versatility and perspective. Katherine’s “happy place” is anywhere she can express herself through music; she has a near-lifelong background in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre dance, and continues to work on her soprano repertoire. They are genuinely enthusiastic about literature and Shakespeare - and the accessibility thereof - and consequently wears the label “nerd” with pride.
